From Department Head

We, as the Department of Food Engineering, try to train Food Engineers who are capable of producing effective foods that protects public health and grows healthy generations. In that path, we also take consciousness- raising and guidance of the public as a duty.

We shape our education with the objective of recent sense of quality which is from field to markets to protect food characteristics and care them with utmost attention.

In the basis of this quality sense our main principle is, to prevent people from getting ill instead of looking for a treatment afterwards.

As department, we work for to create the healthiest food mechanism in supply and engineers who are aware of this quality consciousness, within our principle.

With reference to “ human comes first” sense, our aim is to train engineers who are conscious and honest in food sector, value nation and public benefits above all, open minded and open hearted.

Our target is, to combine and improve conventional food values with universal science and technology parameters and then make them gain global qualification.

Education objective of our Department is, as one of the food family member, to educate new students in the road of being a good person and good colleague.

The common point “food” is the most important family share and is the notion which makes us move  altogether and team up under same roof.

I invite all students those who value food and public to receive education from our department, and wish success to those who continue their training and graduates.
